OPTICAL MEASUREMENT TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST CELEBRATES ACQUISITION BY GLOBAL PROVIDER OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES AND ACCELERATES INNOVATION AND GROWTH.

NEXTSENSE, the Austrian-based specialist for optical measurement solutions today announced its acquisition by Hexagon AB, a leading global provider of information technologies that drive productivity and quality across industries. This consolidation will support NEXTSENSE vision to become global leader in mobile optical profile measurement solutions. NEXTSENSE is looking forward to offer even more powerful sensor systems, software applications and advanced analytics.

As a provider of profile measurement systems and surface inspection solutions for the automotive, train/rail, steel and aerospace industries, NEXTSENSE offers complementary products to the broad-based portfolio of Hexagon AB. Hexagon is a perfect fit for NEXTSENSE due to its leading market position in the industrial metrology domain.
