CBAM tariffs are imminent, and Tianan XGTD8 environmental cabinets offer carbon reduction options
International current affairs
EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) Enters Phase III September 1, 2025; Full Enforcement Set for January 1, 2026. The world’s first “carbon tariff” will oblige importers to declare embedded emissions and surrender corresponding CBAM certificates, rewriting trade rules and sharpening low-carbon requirements for Chinese manufacturers.
Carbon is now a cost. Companies that fail to track and trim their footprints face higher border levies and eroded market share. Green production has become compulsory.
Tianan Electric’s answer is the XGTD8 eco-panel. The switchgear replaces SF₆ with a dry-air/nitrogen mix, cutting greenhouse-gas potential to near zero over its life-cycle. Designed for high efficiency, low losses and full recyclability, the XGTD8 lets users keep power systems safe while meeting Europe’s new carbon benchmark.
