Tian'an Mobile Substation Sail to the Philippines
Mobile Substation
In September 2025, the mobile substation designed and manufactured by Tian'an smoothly boarded the Ro-Ro (Roll on-Roll off) ship and officially set sail for the Philippines. This innovative power solution is set to provide strong support for the Philippines' urgent and temporary power needs.
Technical Highlights:
Main Transformer: The main transformer adopts a 12.5MVA/69/13.2kV capacity, with an auxiliary transformer of 25kVA/13.2/0.4kV, ensuring efficient power transmission.
Advanced Configuration: The primary side is equipped with Siemens HGIS, Chinese well-known brand current transformers, voltage transformers, and surge arresters, ensuring system stability and safety.
Secondary Side Design: The secondary side is an outdoor container-type substation enclosure, internally fitted with 15kV gas-insulated switchgear, microcomputer protection system, and DC power supply, further enhancing the equipment's reliability and flexibility.
Mobility and Flexibility:
Trailer Design: All equipment is mounted on a 13.5-meter and 10.5-meter trailers, which can be directly connected to the tractor head for urgent needs, enabling rapid deployment to project sites to address urgent or temporary power needs.
Quick Response: This design not only increases the equipment's mobility but also significantly reduces response time, offering a fast and reliable power solution for local supply.
Future Outlook:
Customer Recognition: This is the first mobile substation ordered by the client, with the second unit already scheduled for production, expected to be completed and ready for inspection by early 2026.
Global Expansion: Tian'an's design and manufacturing capabilities have received high praise from the client, paving the way for the promotion of this innovative power solution in more regions worldwide.
