A revolution in fluid supply - Bimor the piezoelectric pump for liquids
Conventional liquid pumps (mainly available as diaphragm pumps or peristaltic pumps), suffer from limited life-times, and a change of friction parts is often required at inopportune moments. How beneficial it would be then, to have a liquid pump enabling carefree operation over many years.
You may therefore be interested to know that Nitto Kohki, a renowned manufacturer of air compressors and vacuum pumps, has risen to the challenge and designed such a pump.
The result is a revolutionary piezoelectric bimorph technology pump series, the BIMOR range, which is manufactured in different wetted materials to be able to handle almost every possible medium.
All models are available in 120V/60Hz and 230V/50Hz versions, and have a maximum supply rate of up to 500 ml/min, with a maximum achievable overpressure of 350 mbar.
Due to the whisper-silent operation this pump series can be found principally in medical products but is also well suited for industrial inkjet printers, analytical products and water cooling circuits. The units are also suitable for a range of gases.
Users can expect a maintenance free operation of more than 50,000 hours providing the pumps are used in a suitable application
