NEW: pellet dryer by Nordson Polymer Processing Systems

Nordson's BKG pellet dryer separates process water and pellets which are carried upward to top of the dryer in a helical motion via the fast rotation of the dryer shaft and angled rotor blades. Pellets exit the dryer continuously through the pellet discharge chute. Because of the rebound effect and the counter current airflow generated by the exhaust blower, the pellet outlet moisture can be reduced to less than 0.05% depending on the type of polymer.
