norelem has added a compact range to its range of linear components

With these space-saving units and ball bearings, linear motion functions can be implemented in minimal spaces.

norelem now has a new range of especially compact linear components suitable for applications in small spaces. These linear housing units, ball bearings and shaft supports can be used in mounting and feeder machines, optical scanners and robots, for example.

Linear housing units perform linear movements and can act as transport carriages. The compact models from norelem are made up of an aluminium housing and a pre-installed linear ball bearing with a seal on either side.

There is also a tandem version available, which has two pre-installed self-aligning linear ball bearings. Each housing unit has a greasing hole, through which the ball bearings can be re-lubricated if necessary.

Compact linear ball bearings are available with or without the self-aligning function. The regular steel version and a plastic cage is sufficient for individual applications.

The self-aligning models are made up of a plastic housing, runner plates made of roller bearing steel, and steel ball bearings. These are used where more than one linear ball bearing is installed in one housing, and they can correct misalignments, compensate for tolerances, and prevent tilting.

Last but not least, the norelem range includes shaft supports in compact form. These have a locating hole which allows easy and secure mounting and clamping of the guide shafts.
