MULTI-TUBE VALVES FOR THE CITY OF FLORENCE (ITALY)
In order to fight against flooding during floods of the ARNO river.
In Italy, the city of Florence is crossed by the Arno river and wishes to protect itself against flooding during the floods of the latter.
This therefore required the installation at the outlet of EP networks of 2 MULTI 1000 NB (non-return valves in GRP diameter 1000) mounted on steel shutters 1500x3200mm.
This device allows the opening of the MULTITUBE valves during low EP flows and the opening of the steel shutters when the flows are greater (at high flow).
The whole remains watertight during backflows, upwellings, flooding of the ARNO river.
