INSTALLATION OF A TAILOR-MADE ANTI-ODOR VALVE IN LEERS (59).

The valve was installed to fight against the rise of odors coming from the unitary network of the municipality.

The ditch that allows the recovery of rainwater and discharge into the combined network of the city of Leers is along the Roubaix canal.

Collected rainwater passes through the combined network via a large-diameter concrete pipe. The area near the ditch and the entrance to the concrete culvert was subject to frequent bad smells.

To adapt to the technical constraints of this configuration, NORHAM services therefore had to design a tailor-made STINK-SHIELD ® Vertical anti-odor solution of DN 980 , made up of 7 valves DN 300 .

Its installation at the entrance to the culvert made it possible to contain bad odors coming from the combined network and to protect residents from any olfactory nuisance.
