Novakon Participated in Siemens 2024 Digital Industries Workshop

Siemens Taiwan recently held the 2024 Siemens Digital Industries Refresh Workshop at the Lin Hotel in Taichung. Novakon Co., Ltd. was invited by Siemens Taiwan to participate in this workshop, showcasing the achievements and application solutions of Novakon's NPP series Industrial Panel PCs integrated with Siemens Industrial Edge Ecosystem. This collaboration provides an open and flexible solution for the digitalization process in industrial applications. During the workshop, Novakon demonstrated the 15.6-inch industrial Panel PC, the NPP-156P01, the very first Panel PC certified by Siemens Industrial Edge.
The NPP-156P01 industrial panel PC features an Intel® Elkhart Lake Celeron® J6412 quad-core processor with low power consumption yet powerful edge computing capabilities. The series offers three screen sizes (15.6, 18.5, and 21.5 inches) with 1080p FHD resolution. Support multi-touch functionality with projected capacitive touch, IP66 waterproof and dustproof aluminum front panel design, coupled with metal frame and aluminum heatink for excellent thermal conductivity in fanless systems. The NPP series is designed for high reliability and long-term stability in industrial environments. Various I/O ports (COM/GbE Ports/USB/HDMI) ensure excellent connectivity and expandability for diverse industrial applications.
Industrial Edge is an open, ready-to-use edge computing platform from Siemens, consisting of various applications, OT and IT connectivity, edge devices, and a central management system, making IT in manufacturing simple, scalable, and manageable. As the only invited device builder partner at the workshop, Novakon will continue to collaborate with Siemens to create value and successful use case in Siemens Industrial Edge Ecosystem, bringing more open and extensible benefits and possibilities to industrial applications.
