NEW: particulate filter by Ntron

Features:

Removes Large Quantities of Particulates

Reduces or Eliminates Filter Maintenance

The Blow Back Filter consists of three parts: a Blow Back Timer, a Control Solenoid Valve, and the Filter Housing. The Blow Back Timer controls the flow through the filter housing via the control solenoid valve. The two modes of operation, Sampling and Blow Back, are determined by customer adjustable timing set points on the

Blow Back Timer.

In the Sampling Mode, sample gas from the measured process passes through the filter element, through the control solenoid valve, and on to the Sample Conditioning Package. Particulate matter remains on the outside of the filter element forming a filter cake.

In the Blow Back Mode, the Blow Back Timer reverses the flow through the filter, dislodging the filter cake from the filter element with inert gas or pressurised solvent and returns it to the measured rocess.

Installation

The filter must be mounted vertically, as close as possible to the measured process, to aid in filter cake return. Best results are obtained by removing the bottom end cap and attaching the Filter directly to the process vessel via the 1” NPT fitting. The Control Solenoid Valve and the Blow Back Timer can be supplied for both non-hazardous and hazardous areas.
