E-commerce Logistics - Efficient Sorting
Remote IO application case
Taking a customer's cross-belt sorting equipment as an example, the customer's logistics control system is the control center of the entire sorting equipment. The control system obtains the status of the field equipment from Siemens S7-1200 PLC, and gives execution instructions after analysis and calculation. PLC controls the frequency converter and the sorting mechanism performs parcel transportation and material sorting. Odot Automation launched C series distributed IO, CN-8032-L is used as a remote substation of PLC, using the equipped IO module (digital input IO module CT-121F, digital output IO module CT-222F, 100 data bits), can Quickly and accurately feed back the information as the operating status, operating position and fault status of the on-site equipment to the PLC, and can control the start and stop of the frequency converter and motor according to the PLC's output and execute instructions to deliver the package to the designated storage location.
In addition to accurate and fast data transmission, Odot's C series distributed IO system also has an advantage in comparison with other products of the same type. The C series adopts automotive-grade MCU with the characteristics of wide temperature, and can work stably during -40°C-85°C. Odot's products can be widely used in sorting systems from north to south in all the seasons.
