Many medical devices are now "wearable", meaning that they can be worn on the body. A frequently seen example are devices for diabetics to inject insulin.
Small stickers on the body administer the correct dose of insulin to the body by means of a mini-cartridge - trackable via app for patient and doctor. These devices are often only the size of a matchbox. Accordingly, the pins and contact pins contained in the box must also be small.
