OKW's service portfolio now includes an intriguing design option for enclosures in light base colours, such as grey-white or traffic white, suitable for applications requiring visual emphasis or reduced display.

By incorporating a specific grid pattern or individualized backlit elements (e.g., on/off status), the wall thickness of the plastic components can be internally reduced to such an extent that the light from LEDs positioned behind them shines through.

This technique enables the display of figures and letters, such as temperature readings or individual status indicators, in a visually appealing and high-quality manner. Key advantages include: the respective surfaces are not completely opened, preserving the IP protection class; no external alterations to the enclosure are visible when switched off and special light guides are not required.
