TRUNNION Ball valves and HEAVY DUTY pneumatic actuators

OMAL developed the SUPREME Series of Trunnion ball valves to meet the requirements of the Petrochemical and Oil & Gas; with the SUPREME series OMAL is completing the range of Ball Valves, which is already including the Floating type ball valves - Series “Magnum” and “Thor” – already available.

The aim of SUPREME Series of Trunnion ball valves is to meet the specifications of the Petrochemical / OIL & GAS sector in which are required ball valves with sizes, characteristics of durability, reliability, safety and pressure classes which cannot be achieved with floating valves.

The SUPREME Series has been designed and is being manufactured in accordance with the API6D, ANSI, ASME and EN specifications and with the following Certifications:

- PED

- ATEX

- API6D

- SIL3

- Fugitive Emission

- TA-LUFT

- FIRE SAFE API607 / ISO10497

The SUPREME Series is entirely produced in OMAL manufacturing facilities in Italy; the size range is up to 24 "and pressure classes are ANSI 150/300/600/900/1500/2500.

Regarding the materials, in addition to the "standard" carbon steel and stainless steel, the Trunnion valves are often required according to customer''s specification, according to the “process data” they would be used for.

Therefore Trunnion valves can be manufactured in “exotic” alloys such as Hastelloy, Inkonel, SuperDuplex and many others, in order to meet these specific requirements.

Heavy Duty Pneumatic Actuators

OMAL, thanks to thirty years of experience in the production of Scotch Yoke system for its “standard” range of aluminum pneumatic actuators, has developed a series of HEAVY DUTY actuators in Carbon Steel, for applications (for example in Refineries) where aluminum is not accepted and for the actuation of valves (mainly Trunnion) with torque up to 30,000 Nm.

OMAL also has also a range of Stainless Steel actuators (up to 1920 Nm and 960 Nm DOUBLE ACTING ACTING) for special "services" or "environments" in which it is specifically requested the use of the Stainless Steel.

OMAL, manufacturing internally both the SUPREME Series of Trunnion ball valves and the pneumatic actuators (the HEAVY DUTY in carbon steel as well as the aluminum and stainless steel ones), is one of the few Players worldwide with the capability to supply the entire ''actuated package'' (Trunnion valve + HD Actuator) entirely produced by OMAL, SIL3 certified and rigorously Made in Italy; the manufacturing of the OMAL above mentioned products is fully viewable in our plants in Villa Carcina and Rodengo Saiano (BS) – ITALY.
