FILTERING BLOCK MAINTENANCE

With reference to our filter pumps maintenance, the filtering block maintenance plays a major role , as its correct functioning is crucial to ensure the expected degree of high filtration. When the working  pressure indicated by the manometer, supplied with the filter pump, reaches the galvanic bath characteristic value, the operator should  replace the filtering papers. During the aforementioned maintenance, the following operations shoud  be carried out:

 ** Filtering papers replacement

 ** Panels and frames washing, checking that the small holes are not dirty, in order to avoid easy breakage due to excessive pressure

development inside the filtering unit

** Any panels and frames breakages verification and subsequent replacement of the broken elements in order to ensure the maximum filtration results.

Of course, the maintenance is extremily important and requires a significant time, whose duration depends on the filter pump model, the filtered bath dimensions and the nature and quantity of the residue to be retained.

On the other hand, the specific filtering block technology (the construction methods, the materials choice and the filtering media) is a crucial element for the purposes of the high filtration standards offered by our products.

We are often objected to the fact that a cartridges filtering system, proposed by other manufacturers, is more convenient from a maintenance point of view. If this cannot be denied, on the other hand there is no doubt that the filtering surface developed by the PP wire is much more limited than the one developed by the filtering papers, with obvious consequences in terms of filtration results. Furthermore, the alternation of panels / frames / filtering papers has proved to be a winning solution compared to the other filter systems.
