Felipe Ángeles International Airport in Mexico (AIFA)

OPTIMUS ensures safety and communication at Felipe Ángeles International Airport with the advanced OPTIMAX2 system.

*Cutting-edge technology in the public address and voice alarm system installation at Mexico's new airport*

The Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA), located in the State of Mexico, is one of the country's most important infrastructures and a key project in the regional airport system that complements Mexico City International Airport (AICM). Inaugurated on March 21, 2022, this airport stands out not only for its size and modernity but also for the advanced technological solutions that ensure the safety and communication of all its users.

OPTIMUS played a crucial role in this project, providing its expertise and cutting-edge technology in the installation of a state-of-the-art public address and voice alarm system, based on the OPTIMAX2 platform. This system not only meets the strict technical specifications required for an airport of this magnitude but also ensures impeccable acoustic coverage and communication throughout the complex.

*OPTIMUS Technology for AIFA*

The system installed at AIFA impresses with both its scale and capabilities:

- 42 UMX-03 matrices: These units manage sound distribution and integrate various modules and devices connected throughout the airport.
- 189 MP-460WD1 power modules: These ensure clear amplification, with a total power output of 86,940 W RMS, covering all airport areas with high-quality sound.
- 56 DT-800ETH microphone desks: These devices enable direct and clear communication from different points in the airport, ensuring that any emergency or information messages are transmitted quickly and efficiently.
- High-quality speakers: A total of 1,150 speakers, including A-255BTM and FR-30VA models, provide uniform coverage and excellent sound intelligibility across all areas.
- Special equipment: Additionally, around 200 BS-208WT speakers and P08-PI 100VC columns, with 100 W RMS output, were used for their exceptional sound quality and ability to cover specific areas with maximum precision.
Lastly, for this project, OPTIMUS designed specific software and hardware, in the form of a custom microphone desk, for system monitoring. This tailor-made solution ensures that the public address and voice alarm system operates optimally, meeting the highest standards of safety and quality.

Felipe Ángeles International Airport is a critical transportation infrastructure for Mexico and a prime example of how OPTIMUS technology can be integrated into large-scale projects to guarantee efficient and safe communication. The installation of the OPTIMAX2 system at AIFA is a clear testament to OPTIMUS's commitment to innovation and excellence in the public address and voice alarm sector.
