solino® reflexion analysis of surfaces wins inVision award 2019

solino® detects ALL anomalies on surfaces

Opto recently received the InVIsion award 2019 for it's non-contact reflection analysis for surfaces - solino® - from TeDo Verlag.solino® was selected as one of the TOP TEN innovations of the year 2019 by TeDo Verlag, Germany.

solino® analyses the visual appearance of surfaces based on reflectance imaging technology, statistical big data, and deep learning.

solino® from Opto visualizes all anomalies including scratches, holes, waviness, and other surface defects in one single high definition image. Depending on the module version, solino works on all surface types.

solino® analyses the visual appearance of surfaces (Texture, Structure, Waviness) based on proprietary ‘Reflectance Imaging Technology’. Using varying lighting conditions, solino processes the reflection behavior for each object point whilst significantly increasing the lateral resolution of detectable object failure modes.

solino reveals μm resolution surface phenomena from macroscopic images.

solino detects ALL anomalies on surfaces

Combining standard image analysis and deep learning. With statistical big data analysis, solino® is the perfect tool to guarantee repeatability inside Industry 4.0 quality control processes.

solino® is able to detect a scratch having a width of 0,5µm and a depth of 30nm on a sample size of 150 x 150mm - a performance that would typically demand 90 Giga pixel camera resolution!

Advantages:

detects all surface characteristics and anomalies

ideal for the most demanding surface quality control applications

redefines textural surfae standards

100% quality control for fully automated testing

creates a unique digital footprint of every surface and its characteristics
