Orbitec’s enclosed water-cooled weld heads are designed for use under highest thermal loads. To meet these demands, all relevant metallic components of the head—not just the copper conductors—are efficiently cooled by a particularly high water flow.
Gas-Cooled Types for Standard Welding Tasks
For many applications where such high cooling performance is not required—such as thinner wall thicknesses, smaller diameters, or fewer welding operations—almost all weld heads are also available in a more cost-effective, gas-cooled version.
Unique on the Market: Separation of Drive Unit and Weld Head
At Orbitec, the drive unit with hose package and the weld head are separate. This allows a wide range of cassette weld heads to be operated with just one drive unit—providing maximum flexibility at minimal cost.
