environmental sampling (at depths of over 15

meters).

The Pagani DS-44 is a thick-walled sampler with a

piston and it is driven into the ground by

hammering. The piston allows to take samples at the

depth required. The impact-hammer-driving system

minimizes adverse effects such as heating effect,

which occurs in sampling with rotation drive

systems.

The sampler has an internal transparent PVC soil

sampler liner, whose ends can be sealed in order to

assure the delivery of the ground sample with all the

substances and gases dissolved in it, to the

laboratory. Moreover, in order to analyse samples of

the intermediate layers, soil sampler liners can be

cut during the in-situ test thanks to the stainlesssteel

workbench designed for disassembling and

cutting liners. This workbench is supplied with the

kit DS-44 and can be mounted on your Pagani

penetrometer.
