AN ALL GREEN FAIR

ScotPlant, the largest construction equipment trade event in Scotland, opened its doors last Friday at Ingleston near Edinburgh. While a general equipment show, a good number of crane and access products were represented this year.

Liftech UK Ltd., the new Palazzani Distributor for UK and Northern Ireland didn’t miss the chance to present themselves and to show two Palazzani tracked Spider Lifts: a TZX 225 and an XTJ 32.

Scotland has a morphological variety, including plateaus, plains, and mountain ranges, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the North Sea, which is why the climate is not among the most favorable. Completely unpredictable, it varies between harsh winters and mild, rainy summers; the wind, more or less strong, always accompanies the Scottish days.

Scotplant 2022 hosted hundreds of visitors who had the opportunity to meet world-class brand manufacturers and dealers. After all the restrictions in the last two years, the fair was an excellent opportunity to finally get back to networking, interacting and doing business face-to-face.

Scotland is important for the British market; the main important works are undoubtedly pruning and landscaping, rental, maintenance / cleaning of facades, painting.

The Liftech UK Ltd. stand attracted considerable interest and was visited by Scottish mainly, as well as British and Irish customers from all the above mentioned sectors. They shared their needs with the Liftech UK and Palazzani staff, received information, and tested the Palazzani Spider Lifts. The elements that most surprised visitors were the lightness and compactness of the towable 25-meter spider model, the compactness, strength, and technology of the 32-meter model, as well as the wide choice that Palazzani offers thanks to the many other models available in the range.

Ragno TZX 250 has an operating weight of only 2650 kg, an aluminum boom with two articulated and telescopic sections that allows to operate up to 25 meters, without movement restrictions with 2 people on the basket for a maximum of 250 kg. The set-up is quick and easy, with automatic leveling. Maximum stability even when moving on uneven and steeply sloping floor.

Ragno XTJ 32 is extremely versatile, offering excellent performance for its use in the most different environmental conditions. Equipped with a telescopic arm in Strenx steel + telescopic jib, 32 meters of maximum working height with 330 kg of maximum capacity in the basket, 360 ° continuous rotation, quick placements on strait and steep slopes, with automatic leveling.
