PANASONIC LAUNCHES ITS MOST POWERFUL AND FLEXIBLE RUGGED ANDROIDTM TABLET FZ-B2
suitable for any mobile worker in any business and any industry
BRACKNELL, UK. 29TH OCTOBER 2014
Panasonic today launched its most powerful and flexible AndroidTM business tablet with the
introduction of the 7” display, rugged Toughpad FZ-B2. With its extreme battery life, brilliant
daylight clear display and flexible business configuration options, the Toughpad FZ-B2 is the
perfect work tool for mobile workers using light applications or businesses taking advantage
of open source operating systems.
The AndroidTM device was unveiled at the ICT Exhibition, at Utrecht, in the Netherlands, and
completes the Toughpad family of 7” rugged tablets, including the FZ-M1 and FZ-M1 Value
with Windows 8.1. Importantly for businesses, this means that all three devices now use the
same platform, meaning peripherals such as Lite-cradle, vehicle dock, hand straps, multi
battery charger and additional batteries can be used with any device in the range.
Jan Kaempfer, Head of European Marketing, at Panasonic Computer Product Solutions,
said: “With the Toughpad FZ-B2 we have designed the most powerful and flexible business
AndroidTM tablet on the market. Alongside our other outstanding Windows-based 7”
Toughpads, we have a family of business rugged tablets that can be tailored to meet the
needs of any mobile worker, in any business, in any industry.”
