High Vacuum Chambers

• Fast availability • Individual chamber configuration • Serially produced using laser welding

ComVac 2017. The centerpiece of every vacuum system is a vacuum chamber that is tailor-made to a specific application. With its cubical vacuum chambers, Pfeiffer Vacuum offers an affordable alternative to a fully customized chamber – and one which is quickly available, too. Its wide range of configuration options makes it ideal for a broad spectrum of applications in the pressure range from ambient up to 1 • 10^-7 hPa. The cubical chambers are available in three basic sizes. They are manufactured using a laser welding process. This results in deep welded seams that withstand high mechanical loads and have an optically convincing appearance.

Customers can configure their vacuum chamber individually: flange outlets can be selected to meet their requirements, and the chamber door is available in stainless steel and PMMA. In the standard version, the surfaces of the inner body are made of stainless steel which is ground and fine blasted with glass beads. Further options include pickled and passivated, anodic cleaned and electropolished finishes.

Matching accessories, consisting of vacuum pumps and measurement instruments, water cooling, heating and extendable shelves, add up to a vacuum solution that is ideally suited to the particular use.
