PRIMA STAKEHOLDER FORUM
An innovative project, a group of stakeholders, and the scenario of the University of Siena
An innovative project, a group of stakeholders, and the scenario of the University of Siena. These were the ingredients that allowed the creation of PRIMA, the international research program for the Mediterranean, promoted by the European Union.
The program, after identifying its strategic plan, has entered the phase in which stakeholders meet and discuss about it.
During the day, taking place in Siena, many technological solutions have been explained and compared: production processes, precision farming techniques, aquaculture and its supporting control systems.
The event started with a welcome session in which PRIMA’s manager, Angelo Riccaboni, presented and explained the project; then, it went on with speeches by personalities from the Miur (Department of Education) and by the European Union delegate.
After an entire day of speeches and discussions, Fabio Ginesi from the Olive Oil Commercial Direction of Pieralisi Group, explained all the present and future innovations of the Group, as well as the improvements that the company makes every year to keep up with the industry.
This has been with no doubt a showcase for innovation, which gave voice to Pieralisi industrial growth, and the 16 case studies referenced have been important to understand in which direction global companies and markets are heading.
