In Brac island, in Croatia, took place the first ever World Championship of olive picking
In Brac island, in Croatia, took place the first ever World Championship of olive picking. The event was organized by the office of Tourism together with the Cooperative for Agriculture and Municipality of Postira and it had the main goal to promote the city of Postira as a sign of high quality scene for the olives.
Furthermore, local institutions took this opportunity to propose an attractive offer for the tourist where the olive oil and healthy life are put first.
This event was meant as a celebration of the Mediterranean tradition where the olive oil carries forward a centennial history.
Pieralisi Group was the main sponsor of this event, which many judged to have had a lot of success!
