PSENvip Long Range

The camera-based protection system PSENvip 2 for press brakes from Pilz provides a new Long Range version: PSENvip Long Range is the first protective device with a protection range of up to 18 meters. That makes the robust protection system ideal for monitoring special presses such as tandem presses. The camera-based protection system fulfils all common safety standards and also EN 12622, so that PSENvip 2 guarantees maximum productivity with simple handling.

Upgrading to the new version can easily be made, as only the receiver needs to be exchanged. With PSENvip Long Range you can monitor tandem presses with only one protection system, for example. There is no need for a combination of mobile protective device and light guards, so that the investment costs can already be reduced.

The Long Range version also provides a Hot-plug-compatible protective system for the users: This means that two press brakes are set up side by side. This is possible because the transmitter and receiver in the middle can simply be folded away. The transmitter from machine 1 then continues to work with the receiver from machine 2, without having to restart. This avoids unnecessary downtimes and so increases plant productivity
