On the one hand, this makes extremely fast concept development possible, so that the customer receives an offer within only 24 hours and the Rapid Prototyping development in just one week. Especially quickly, Pöppelmann KAPSTO realizes the third step towards the first off-mould parts. Modern machinery and streamlined processes make it possible to produce the first series parts within just one month. With this, FastLane reaches a new benchmark in the industry.

With Rapid Prototyping and Rapid Tooling to functional samples

As soon as a request is processed with the new FastLane service, KAPSTO® carries out a feasibility check and the customer receives the offer within one day, including an article concept in the form of a technical drawing or an article sketch. Once the article design has been completed on a CAD basis, the KAPSTO® project team will create a first prototype on this basis. Depending on the requirements, the 3D printing process Rapid Prototyping or Rapid Tooling is used to produce a view or function sample from series material. Based on prototypes made with Rapid Tooling, basic features and properties of the part can be directly verified. After a successful release, the customer receives the first off-mould parts from series production after one month. If no prototypes are required, it will be even faster!

The Ludwigsburg-based company Goetze KG is a sought-after competence in the manufacture of safety fittings for industrial and building technology. When a special protective stopper required the short-term serial production of 25,000 special parts, KAPSTO® was able to present the prototypes within five working days and manufacture the first off-mould parts within four weeks. Immediately afterwards, the desired 25,000 special parts were produced and delivered.
