POLAR Developments participates in the Jarama Next Generation Festival

• The event, full of activities, culminates in the 1st race of the FIA ETCR WORLD CUP, the Electric Touring Car World Championship.

• Attendees will be able to learn about and enjoy the latest advances in mobility, motor racing and sports motorcycling.

• POLAR Dv will present PolarGreen TOW, the 1st portable system of immediate solar energy with which to charge electric vehicles.

June 2022.- The Madrid company POLAR Developments participates this weekend in the Jarama Next Generation Festival. The event, which will be held on Saturday the 18th and Sunday the 19th at the emblematic RACE Jarama circuit in Madrid, aims to show attendees the future of mobility, motor racing and sports motorcycling. It is, therefore, the perfect setting to present the most revolutionary product of POLAR Developments: PolarGreen TOW,

This unique trailer hides in its interior everything necessary to transform itself -in less than an hour- into an authentic "solar micro-farm" that you can remove and put on. And it is that, thanks to an innovative folding system -inspired by the sophisticated masts of space satellites-, this compact vehicle houses 12 solar panels inside which, once deployed, are transformed into a solar field of 4.4KWp of 22 linear photovoltaic panels. PolarGreen TOW thus becomes the first portable system to recharge an electric car, exclusively from immediate solar energy.

A STEP FURTHER IN SOLAR ENERGY

Until now, POLAR Developments, through its commercial brand dedicated to portable solar energy, PolarGreen, had already presented CASE: a complete range of portable solar energy devices for medium and low power. CASE includes three different solutions depending on the power required: from a particular suitcase inside which there is a folding solar panel capable of supplying up to 200W; to a chest with two power options: 600 or 1,000W.

With PolarGreen TOW, the firm wanted to go further, creating a device capable of supplying up to 6,500W (scale with different powers) and with countless uses: from providing the necessary energy for cars, scooters or electric bikes to even giving energy support for a home in the event of an occasional power outage, camping or even to be able to hold an event with all kinds of comforts in an unusual setting that otherwise would not have electricity.
