Agile Robotic Systems unveiling Automated Shaft system alongside Vise system at IMTS 2024

Agile Robotic Systems will be bringing the Agile Flex MEGA S to IMTS 2024, designed to handle the unmanned tending of shafts into CNC machining centers.

The Agile MEGA S handles shaft diameters up to 3” / 76mm and lengths between 6” and 63” / 152mm and 1,600mm while its smaller sibling, the Agile Flex 35S handles shaft diameters up to 3” / 76mm and lengths between 6” and 31” / 152mm and 787mm.

The Automated Shaft system can be configured for different shaft sizes in each drawer, for ultimate unattended flexibility, with full on-the-fly adjustability for shaft diameter and length, utilizing quick-adjust mechanical shaft nests.

With up to eight drawers, up to 11 rows of 1” / 25mm diameter shafts and up to 7 columns of 8” / 203mm length shafts, the Agile Flex MEGA S can process up to 616 shafts.

All Agile Machine Loading Systems feature the same state of the art user interface and Agile Go! cell controller software. Specifically designed to be intuitive for the CNC machine tool user and requiring no robot programming knowledge, Agile Go! requires minimal training.
