Middle East Coatings Show 2020 Postponed
"We are currently in discussion with the venue and authorities" to schedule a new date for the show, per Portfolio Director Paul Davis.
The Middle East Coatings Show 2020 has been postponed, Portfolio Director Paul Davis announced.
"The global situation surrounding the COVID-19 virus has continued to evolve, and dmg events have been closely monitoring the situation," Davis said. "We have also been in close contact with our exhibitors and key participants.
"The UAE is safe for travel and deploys the strictest medical and hygiene protocols. In spite of this Middle East Coatings Show is an international event and a large majority of key participants now find themselves unable to travel," he continued. "This is due either to restrictions in their home countries or to the increasing flight cancelations in the gulf and other regions.
"Bearing this in mind, and in the interests of our global exhibitors and key buyers from the region, Middle East Coatings Show 2020 will be postponed and rescheduled for a later date," Davis added. "We are currently in discussion with the venue and authorities to find a suitable time when we will once again be able to deliver the strong international participation associated with the event.
"We appreciate your understanding that this decision has been taken in the best interests of all participants and will update you when dates have been confirmed," he concluded.
