Stainless Steel Electric Chain Hoist EUROCHAIN VR

VERLINDE offers its EUROCHAIN VR Stainless Steel electric chain hoist, designed for food industry applications. Both the chain and hook made of stainless steel and the motor is tropicalized. Available options include food grade biodegradable grease or an ATEX compliant version

The EUROCHAIN VR stainless steel electric chain hoist can handle loads from 63 to 1250 kg.

To ensure safety, the standard version is fitted with a new hoist load wheel concept with intermediate teeth for the drive chain, 2 lifting speeds, a Start/Stop palm button on the control box, a torque limiter, a hoist disc brake, a very low voltage control system (48V), a variable speed travel motor, an electric safety limit switch for high and low positions, and it complies with the EC machinery directive.

All stainless steel electric chain hoist models offer a wide range of speeds. The standard version of the hoist motor is two-speed providing more flexible operability.

In the food industry version the EUROCHAIN VR stainless steel electric chain hoist is fitted with a stainless steel hoisting chain.

Its standard lifting height is 3 m and its watertight motor protection IP 55. The hoist motor is thermally protected and to ensure serviceability in regions with extremes of temperature (from -40°C to 70°C) and high moisture levels (to 95%). It is equipped with a 2-button pendant for the hook suspended hoist or manual trolley, and a 4-button pendant for hoist with an electric trolley.

It is compatible with 400V/3Ph/50Hz, 415V/3Ph/50 Hz ou 460V/3 Ph/60 Hz power supplies.

The hoist gear reducer was designed for very long operating periods of up to 3200 hours. High precision machining on the gear trains ensures a very low noise level when running. The clutch system is easily accessible for occasional maintenance. Its location on the gear box ensures the load is securely held by the brake during maintenance.
