Edgecam and SurfCAM are demonstrating the new and enhanced technology of their latest releases

Edgecam provides a one-stop solution for milling, turning and mill-turn machining. Its recent additions include the Waveform Roughing Strategy, which is a high speed machining technique maintaining a constant tool cutting load by ensuring the tool engagement into the material is consistent. The tool path moves in a smooth path to avoid sharp changes in direction which maintains the machine tool’s optimum velocity.

SurfCAM is a 3D CAM product that achieves the balance between technical features and ease of use, ensuring users become even more productive and profitable, the company says. Individual modules are tailored to manufacturers’ specific requirements and include two to five-axis milling, lathe and mill-turn, and wire EDM.
