High-Speed Spindles Offer Micro Collet System

Ibag North America will exhibit its compact Micro Line high-speed spindles for Swiss turning machines, with spindle diameter sizes ranging from 16 to 33 mm and speeds ranging to 120,000 rpm

Right-hand spindles are also available for greater flexibility. For precision parts manufacturing, a micro collet system is offered to achieve accuracies of 1 µm TIR at the collet nose with tools as large as 1/8" in diameter. Designed for use with the company's 22-, 25- and 33-mm spindles, including back-working and right-angle models, the collets enable improved accuracies for precision milling and small drilling in applications in the medical and other micromachining industries.

The company will also be displaying Witte's vacuum chucks, pumps and accessories for metal, graphite, ceramic, plastic and exotic alloy workholding.
