In order to be voted the 2011 CHP Plant of the year, Man combined two award-winning engines! And heat and power plants make a good match! It may seem pretty “heavy”, but it actually contributes to the avoidance of electricity network expansion: high savings in energy costs and a significant reduction in CO2 emissions. The natural-gas-powered MAN engines of type E2876 E312 in the two GTK140 CHP plants each deliver a power output of 140 kW and a thermal output of 207 kW. Read more about it on Directindustry.com
