MARTIN AIRCRAFT COMPANY “PRACTICAL” JETPACK

The first Jetpack to hit the market in 2014

New Zealand Martin Aircraft Company has announced the release of its redesigned Martin Jetpack, available mid-2014. Based on the P12 prototype, they managed to boost the performance in terms of the aircraft’s maneuverability.

It can reach a speed of 74 kph and a height of 900 m, remain airborne for 30 minutes and travel for 20 miles.

Before being available to the general public, the Martin Jetpack should be used for rescue applications (fire and police missions etc.).

The aircraft should be sold for $100,000 in the U.S. If you can’t resist the chance to fly above 150 m, simply reserve your private Jetpack by leaving a $5,000 deposit…optimal performance has a cost!
