The Michell Instruments’ Liquidew I.S. moisture in liquids analyzer has been selected by a major producer of synthetic rubber in Asia. The plant chose to go with six Liquidew I.S. analyzers, installed at key points in the process to monitor moisture levels in the feedstock and the solvent as well as in the drying process used to regenerate the solvent. The choice to go with the Michell Instruments’ Liquidew I.S. was made thanks to their notable measurement ability. The device is capable of measuring moisture levels down to 0.001ppmW and can reliably give accurate readings in the low-moisture environment. Indicating rapid changes in moisture concentration is a key element in the process required for the production of synthetic rubber and becomes extremely useful during the drying process.
