HessAmerica Introduces MOROCCO Bollard In LED and Two Heights

MOROCCO LED Bollards are available in 39 in. and 43 in. heights. Unit’s head and shaft are manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminum extrusion with 4.7 x 3.2 in. and 0.138 in. cross section and wall thickness respectively. Operated on 120 V – 277 V at 50 or 60 Hz frequency, bollards come with clear acrylic lens and internal stacked louvers. Product is offered with optional 0-10 V dimming and top lens in matte white, or red, blue, or green colors.

Product Applications: The MOROCCO bollard effectively illuminates pedestrian areas, and pathways with low brightness LED illumination. Applications include sidewalks and bicycle paths found on corporate campuses, public parks, arboretums, cultural centers, as well as entry plazas for upscale malls or entertainment venues. It is also well suited for emphasizing building entrances and pedestrian gathering areas found in a variety of architectural settings.

Product Description: The MOROCCO bollard combines timeless styling with glare-free illumination to complement a wide variety of architectural settings. Refined styling cues include a slender rectangular profile, louvered optics, and clean mounting detail highlighted by stainless steel hardware. The bollard is available in 39” and 43” heights to meet scale requirements of the area to be illuminated.

MOROCCO is available with three windows for an asymmetric distribution ideal for the illumination of pathways and sidewalks, or four windows to produce a symmetric distribution for pedestrian plazas or building entrances. The louvered optics shield the source at normal viewing angles while providing soft, diffused illumination with high visual comfort. The luminaire head may be specified with a solid top, or with an optional top lens for visual accenting. The optional top lens may be specified in matte white, or in colors of red, blue, or green.

Color temperatures are available in a choice of warm or neutral white color temperatures with a CRI greater than 80. Power consumption is 27 watts.

Construction and Finishes: The MOROCCO luminaire head and shaft are fabricated from 6061-T6 aluminum extrusion with a cross-section of 4.7” x 3.2” and a nominal wall thickness of 0.138”. Luminaire head may be specified with three or four windows. Lenses are clear acrylic. Optional top lens for accenting is matte acrylic and may be specified in white, blue, red, green, or red. The bollard is available in nominal heights of 39.4” or 43.3”.

The LED light engine is available in 3000K or 4000K color temperatures with a CRI greater than 80. Internal stacked louvers minimize brightness by shielding the source from normal viewing angles.

The high power factor electronic universal LED driver accepts 120v through 277v at 50 or 60 Hertz. Power consumption is 27 watts. Optional 0-10v dimming is available on request.

The MOROCCO bollard installs onto a mounting assembly with four M12x20mm stainless steel socket head cap screws and washers. The mounting consists of a mounting plate and four anchor bolts. The mounting plate assembly is embedded into a concrete foundation provided by others.

Standard colors are matte silver grey metallic, dark grey, or graphite grey. Special colors are available upon request. All hardware is stainless steel.
