New Gehl RT215/Mustang 2150RT compact track loaders pack more pushing, lifting power

The Gehl RT215 and Mustang 2150RT have rated operating capacities of 2,150 pounds at 35 percent of tipping load and have a lift height of 10 feet, 8 inches. They run on a 72-horsepower Tier 4 Final Yanmar diesel engine.

Standard and optional high-flow auxiliary hydraulics can handle a variety of attachments. The CTLs feature a welded chassis for stability and smoother ride.

Electronic engine control and foot throttle allow operation at partial throttle, reducing sound and fuel consumption.

The hydraulic system features AntiStall technology to keep power flowing, and power track-drive motors add pushing power. Auxiliary hydraulic quick couplers allow for fast attachment changes. The CTLs come with a choice of attachment systems: All-Tach, which manually engages and disengages with one lever, and the Power-A-Tach, which electronically changes attachments with the push of a button.

In the cab, Manitou added a multi-function display, and adjustable controls are mounted to the seat, which comes in standard mechanical suspension and optional air ride. Level II FOPS is standard. A pressurized, sealed cab enclosure with heating and air, sound reduction and rear-mounted air filter is optional.

A Hydraloc system automatically applies the parking brake whenever the operator raises the restraint bars, leaves the seat, opens the door or turns off the machine. Speed control is optional. An optional HydraGlide system allows the lift arm to “float” when transporting loads, which reduces spillage and provides a smoother ride at faster speeds.

Flush rear door and angled rear towers provide tight rear clearance radius and better visibility, the company says.

The lift arm was given additional reach and dump height, and the low-profile design provides better visibility. The lift arm has dual bucket cylinders and two lift-arm stop blocks on the front and main frame to evenly distribute digging forces, the company says.
