Modular load-sensing sectional mobile valve from Eaton offers flexible design

Power management company Eaton has announced the newest addition to its line of load-sensing sectional mobile valves, the CLS 180. Featuring a highly modular design, the flexible valve helps designers improve machine performance in a variety of mobile equipment for the construction, refuse, agriculture and marine markets.

Eaton’s new CLS 180 load-sensing sectional mobile valve is a post-compensated valve with a highly versatile design. This modularity is demonstrated through the availability of valve banks with up to 10 sections, a number of spool types and actuation options, mid-inlets, custom inlet manifolds and transition plates. With this flexibility, designers can build the valve to meet the specific requirements of machines ranging from various sizes of excavators to refuse trucks, truck mounted cranes and more.

The CLS 180 joins the CLS 100 in Eaton’s line of load sensing sectional mobile valves, and is the latest addition to the company’s mobile hydraulic valve portfolio. It will be manufactured in Eaton’s Searcy, Ark., facility alongside the CLS 100 valve.
