BRUKER’S NEW CONTOUR ELITE 3D LEADING THE WAY

High-Definition Imaging Combined with Precision 3D Surface Metrology

Bruker has just released its new family of Contour Elite 3D Optical Microscopes, which are breaking the mold by fully integrating high-definition microscopy imaging with industry-leading three-dimensional (3D) optical metrology functionality. This latest edition of Bruker interferometric optical technology provides the high-speed operation and accuracy required by top-level R&D and QC, while also adding the imaging and display advantages generally associated with confocal microscopy.

In a recent press release, Kent Health, General Manager of Bruker’s Stylus and Optical Metrology Business said, “The Contour Elite microscopes are the first commercially available white light interferometry-based metrology systems that combine proprietary highest resolution imaging algorithms with innovative hardware enhancements to obtain both nanometer-scale metrology data and high-definition true images of samples.” Three top-performance microscopes make up the Contour Elite 3D family, the Contour Elite K and the Contour Elite I; both bench-top design, and the fully automated, floor-mount design Contour Elite X.
