Solar Powered Charging Station for the i3 and i8 Electric Vehicles

BMW’s first solar charging point, the Point.One S is by far the most eye-catching electric power point we have seen to date. The solar-powered hub was designed by EIGHT a German-based firm and can be used by BMW’s i3 and i8 electric vehicles. The solar panels are located on top of the airplane wing-like hub that includes an LED illumination system to notify users when the station is available.
