Arne Weber Wins Outstanding Young Entrepreneur Award for Best Sci-Tech Innovation
News Update
On August 27, 2024, Arne Weber, managing founder of faytech, and CTO of Pyramid AG, won the prestigious “Outstanding Young Entrepreneur Award for Best Sci-Tech Innovation” at the 5th Greater Bay Area Young Entrepreneurs Awards.
The “Outstanding Young Entrepreneur Award for Best Sci-Tech Innovation” is an award presented at the Greater Bay Area Young Entrepreneurs Awards, organized by the Guangdong-HK-Macau Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance. The award recognizes young entrepreneurs in the Greater Bay Area (GBA) for their outstanding innovation in science and technology. The award aligns with the GBA’s goal of becoming a global innovation hub by recognizing contributions that drive regional growth and cross-border collaboration in science and technology.
“I am incredibly surprised and even more honored to receive this award, with special thanks to the jury and Frank Chen who encouraged me to apply. For companies of our size, the markets are big enough to reward those who stay active, and that’s us – this year, we’re handling two and a half times more in China on a monthly average compared to last year. I would like to thank everyone involved, especially my employees, but of course, also our entire supplier network. We’re working hard for our future, and I am excited about the innovations we still plan to bring to the market this year”, said Arne Weber upon receiving the award.
Arne’s technological innovational work at faytech caught the attention of the panel of over 20 judges representing various large corporations as he was selected as a winner from a pool of 1,300 applicants.
He also had the chance to exchange word with Dr. Jonathan Choi, Chairman of the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance.
