Owner of the company RAASM SpA, Giovanni Menon wrote the first edition of the volume highlighting the enviable beauties, going through the city and its historical center with curiosity and describing with simplicity its main points of interest. All this making the reader understand how Matera had gone from being considered the "Italian national shame" to being proclaimed a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993.
This new edition contains important new information and to facilitate reading, the text has been divided into chapters and formulated in questions-answers simulating a direct relationship between two interlocutors.
