As seen in previous publications, modern media preparators offer advantages that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and the quality of the media produced. Our media preparators go one step further. Designed to meet the highest standards of quality and demand, they include automatic line cleaning functions; in addition to other 4 integrated processes: preparation, sterilization, fast cooling and dispensing.
In this case, we will focus on the fifth process, the cleaning of lines. This is an essential step to ensure the quality and precision of culture media, the longevity of the equipment, regulatory compliance, and the safety of laboratory personnel. RAYPA media preparators include three line cleaning processes: before, during, and after dispensing.
All our media preparators have a line cleaning function that is automatically activated in each program, just before the sterilization phase begins.
A second line cleaning option offered by RAYPA media preparators is counterpressure dispensing; a procedure carried out to stop the dispensing process, either for a break or due to some eventuality. To perform this action, a CP-MP compressed air system is required, which is included by default in the AE-60-MP, AE-80-MP, and AE-100-MP models.
After the end of the day, the final cleaning process starts, executing the predefined P1 CLEANING program, which acts on the inside of the dispensing lines, leaving the entire circuit clean. Additionally, its design allows easy removal of the internal tray, so we can guarantee a complete and thorough cleaning of the entire equipment.
