ROEMHELD celebrates trade fair premieres at the Eurobike: Three innovations for the ergonomic and efficient assembly and repair of two-wheelers up to 80 kg
Mobile or stationary, for production and workshops, electric or manual - optionally with load balancing.
Laubach, April 19, 2023. ROEMHELD is presenting three innovations for the assembly and repair of bicycles, e-bikes and cargo bikes at the Eurobike 2023. The mobile assembly device "Bike ProMobil", the new repair and maintenance device "Bike ProStand" and the compact and energy self-sufficient "Bike BasicLift" can be seen for the first time. Bikes weighing up to 80 kg can be machined flexibly, ergonomically and efficiently on the solid constructions.
The models are extremely stable and offer very good access to the wheel in all situations. This is held in a paint-friendly manner via the seat tube, a three-point mount or clamping claws. Corresponding clamping adapters can be easily exchanged. For ergonomic assembly, repair and maintenance, the wheel can be moved into all positions and precisely fixed in just a few simple steps.
The ROEMHELD group of companies is a developer and producer of ergonomic assembly and handling solutions that are used in a wide variety of industrial applications. The assembly devices are new developments that were developed with partners from the bike industry and are used in assembly. You can see them at Eurobike 2023 from June 21 to 25 in Frankfurt/Main in Hall 9.0, Stand D13.
"Bike ProMobil" assembly device for flexible flow production
The mobile assembly device "Bike ProMobil" can be used variably and without external energy for all assembly tasks in the production of bicycles up to 40 kg. As a result, production lines and production processes can be designed efficiently and flexibly. On the other hand, employees can take on different assembly tasks, so that their work is more varied.
The stable "Bike ProMobil" can be easily moved with the help of large rollers. The device can then be blocked by foot with a central lock. Any ergonomic mounting height can be achieved using a unique kinematic system combining two rotary axes and a lateral rotary movement. The bicycle frame can be precisely fixed in any position in 15° increments. This means that the bottom bracket, motor, rear derailleur and brakes are optimally accessible. After assembly, the bike can be set down close to the ground.
Depending on the assembly progress and wheel weight, the load distribution can be variably balanced. In order to adjust the bicycle position at any time without effort and effort, only a gas pressure spring has to be adjusted.
"Bike ProStand" for efficient maintenance and repairs in the workshop
"Bike ProStand" is designed for stationary use in workshops and is supplied with energy via a 230 V permanent connection. It consists of two electrically adjustable axes: a height adjustment with a stroke of 1,350 mm and a rotary axis that can be moved endlessly through 360° and has a drive torque of 90 Nm. For stationary use, the assembly device can be bolted to the floor or securely attached to a base plate. It is suitable for bicycles up to 40 kg. In a variant without a rotary axis, cargo bikes up to 80 kg can also be lifted.
"Bike BasicLift" for service centers and mobile repair services
Based on its proven moduhub modular system, ROEMHELD has developed the compact "Bike BasicLift", which can be used universally in smaller and mobile workshops, for example in transport vehicles. With the hydro-manual entry-level model, bicycles weighing up to 50 kg can be adjusted in height by a maximum of 1,000 mm. Thanks to a universal adapter, many commercially available bicycle mounts and clamping claws can be attached. The particularly rigid assembly device and the firmly clamped bicycle enable safe, injury-free and economical work.
