Volume flow transducer with display for use in hazardous locations

The new designed ExCos-V sensor series provides measuring and monitoring of volume flows or air velocities in safety critical HVAC systems.

Installation take place in the hazardous location in zone 1, 2, 21 and 22. For industrial applications in safe area the InCos-V module is available. The measuring range amounts, depending on type, 0 Pa up to 100 Pa or 0 Pa up to 300 Pa. The electrical 24 V AC/DC power supply occurs over a integral Ex-e terminal box. The robust aluminium housing is verifiable protected against dust and water jets and is certified according ATEX and IP66. Product highlights/features are air volume monitoring respective alarm monitoring, a adjustable „k“-factor, a switch-on delay with 3 seconds and an additional switching contact. The actual value indication appears on a backlighted LCD display, which can be switched off if necessary.

The compact transmitter comes with predefined settings and is programmable without any additional tools directly on-site.

No additional module is required in the panel and also no intrinsically safe wiring is needed. This saves space and reduces the life-cycle costs.

Optional the ExCos-V is available with seawater resistant offshore/marine coating or made of stainless steel.
