Global flooring manufacturer use Russell Compact Sieves to guarantee consistent product quality
Altro have been investing in their Hertfordshire operations for a number of years. An increase in global demand for their safety flooring and wall cladding solutions has meant that their manufacturing capacity needed to be increased. Altro pioneered the world’s first safety flooring recycling system, and with sales subsidiaries across the world, produce over 5.4 million square metres of safety flooring each year.
Having purchased two Russell Finex Separators™ previously Altro approached Russell Finex for its sieving solutions. After a short consultation a trial was undertaken to ensure the vibratory sieve could handle the job. After vigorous but successful trials it was agreed that the 600mm Russell Compact Sieve® would be the ideal machine for sieving the recycled glass. The Russell Compact Sieve® is a versatile screening machine and ease of assembly and disassembly has enabled Altro to quickly change and clean meshes whilst reducing operator downtime between production runs.
