High-Temperature Cables for Flexible Use up to 260 °C
SAB Bröckskes offers high-temperature cable solutions for continuous operation up to 260 °C, with specialized designs for even higher temperature ranges. The portfolio combines thermal resistance, flexibility, and chemical durability for demanding in
SAB Bröckskes offers a range of high-temperature cable solutions designed for reliable operation in environments exceeding +200 °C, where standard cable constructions are no longer sufficient.
In applications such as industrial furnaces, steel production, plastics processing, or medical sterilization, cables must withstand continuous thermal stress while maintaining mechanical flexibility and electrical performance. Conventional materials often become brittle or lose functionality under these conditions.
To address these challenges, SAB Bröckskes provides specialized cable designs based on high-performance materials such as silicone (Besilen®), FEP, PFA, ETFE, and halogen-free compounds like SABIX®. These materials enable reliable long-term operation under extreme thermal and chemical conditions.
Flexible silicone-insulated cables support continuous operation up to +220 °C and offer high flexibility, making them suitable for dynamic applications such as moving systems or installations requiring tight bending radii.
For more demanding environments, fluoropolymer-based cables using PTFE, FEP, or PFA enable continuous operation up to +260 °C. These materials provide excellent thermal stability, strong resistance to aggressive media, and reliable dielectric properties for signal and data transmission.
Depending on the application, customized cable designs for temperature ranges up to +400 °C can also be realized, allowing adaptation to highly specific operating conditions.
In addition to thermal performance, the cables can be tailored in terms of shielding, conductor design, and color coding. Pre-assembled and tested cable solutions are available to support efficient system integration.
