Product applications:

The xenon lamp weathering tester(hereinafter abbreviated as S-SUN) uses a xenon lamp as a light source to best simulate the full-spectrum sunlight, and appropriately controls the temperature and humidity to periodically generate precipitation on the sample to fully obtain sunlight, moisture and Effects of temperature on the destruction of polymer materials (material aging includes fading, loss of light, reduced strength, cracking, spalling, chalking, and oxidation).

The light emitted by the xenon lamp can well reproduce the effects of sunlight. The water spray system can reproduce the effects of rain. Throughout the test cycle, the irradiation energy and temperature are controllable. The typical test cycle is usually xenon lamp irradiation and periodic rainfall at high temperatures; typical applications include paint coatings, automotive industry, plastic products, wood products, and glue.

Main performance characteristics

◆ Adopting American-made xenon lamp light source and original filter, more realistic and best simulation of the full spectrum of sunlight, a stable light source to ensure the comparability and reproducibility of the test data.

◆ The sample rack adopts a drum-type structure and is automatically rotated, so that the distribution of the irradiation energy of all the test plates in the entire box is more uniform.

◆ The automatic control of irradiation energy (more accurate and stable with the sun-eye control system) can automatically compensate for changes in irradiation energy due to lamp aging and any other reason, with a wide controllable range.

◆ Quick results: When the product is exposed outdoors, the maximum light intensity of direct sunlight is only a few hours a day.
