Founded 100 years ago with 13 delegates representing a scant 57 members, the Communist Party of China now numbers nearly 92 million and is one of the largest political parties in the world.
It has ruled China for more than 70 years, and under its leadership, China has become the world's second-largest economy and eliminated absolute poverty.
