Two SANY employees made the 2021 Forbes China Under 30 list

Wen Wei and Pan Haojie, two SANY employees, had their names on the 2021 Forbes China’s 30 Under 30 list, which includes 300 Millennials and Gen Zs that were selected from over 2,500 nominations and vetted by a panel of A-list judges. Evaluated with the criteria of influence, achievement and innovation, these young people are the bright stars on the horizon.

Pan Haojie, 30-year-old deputy director of the Controller Division of SANY’s Equipment Research Institutes, is currently leading the research and development of the control system of SANY’s large crawler crane. He upgraded the intelligent control technology, simplifying and securing the operation of traditional crawler cranes to a large extent. His research mainly covers crawler crane technologies such as intelligent auxiliary control, active safety warning systems, autonomous hoisting path planning, and digital twin semi-physical crane simulations. His fame-winning achievement was the successful development of a test system that simulates the installation boundary, working environment and complete vehicle braking load of the entire vehicle braking system.

Wen Wei, 30-year-old deputy director of the Intelligent Manufacturing Institute of the SANY Pumping Technology Institute, has been responsible for the digital transformation of the manufacturing cycle of the SANY Concrete Machinery Business Unit, including camera coverage, the installation of water/electricity meters, and the digital interconnection of equipment. Together with the adoption of self-developed data collection software and key-parameter early-warning APP, his work has led to a substantial cost reduction of over RMB 130 million annually, a great example of the benefits achieved through digital transformation.

These two dedicated and talented young people have become the new industry leaders in the field of manufacturing, energy and environmental protection.
